Yeah, after the FBI trolled everyone by removing Megaupload, all of the other direct
download sites suck ass except for Mediafire, but there's no way I'd spend my time downloading 8 separate files lol. Really, the only thing I've done in the past week is listen to music and watch some
dramas. I read 70 pages of a book one morning while watching Inkigayo last week, but haven't done much reading since then. BoA - Implode BoA's making a comeback in August and I can't wait. That reminds me. I watched the two Running Man episodes recently that featured BoA and I honestly wouldn't have recognized her without the name being spoken / displayed. She looked quite different from when she was performing Hurricane Venus / Dangerous / Copy and Paste. She looked a lot younger during Running Man than she did last I saw her perform on music shows. I'm not sure if it was the difference in hairstyle / color or what.

Wow, there's a lot of good BoA songs. Dakishimeru, Meri Kuri, Winter Love, Listen To Your Heart, Valenti, Do The Motion, Bump Bump, Eien, Mamoritai, the Love Bug (with m-flo), Bad Drive (watch a live performance of this song), etc. If you need more recommendations after you check those out, just ask. Started up Japanese again. For a while, I thought Jpop was dead. Okay, it still is since the idols there are so terrible, but some of my favorite artists started releasing music again and I found a couple of new artists that I like.
Japanese will still be secondary to Korean though. Now that I don't rely on Anki anymore, studying Japanese won't be a problem anymore. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

It's good to see you reviving Japanese again. Being off-work today slightly derailed my plans for 5 Pimsleur Japanese lessons this week (since I use my commute for the follow up passes), but it has done wonders for my Korean since I added 10 Hanja cards, added 31 한국어 cards, watched several Korean shows, and read some from 노인과 바다.
I haven't delved very far into Japanese music yet, but I'm sure I will. Currently there are only 3 Japanese songs I find myself intentionally listening to on my MP3 player: KARA - Go Go Summer, KARA - Jet Coaster Love, and AKB48 - Beginner. I haven't had a chance to check out the BoA songs you listed previously, but I will soon. Of course, it would probably be wise of me to move toward Japanese music sung by native Japanese singers, as well...ㅎㅎㅎ That said, the only "native" Japanese music I have currently is AKB48 and Amuro Namie and most of those songs haven't really caught my interest other than "Beginner" as I noted above. I could try watching Japanese music shows but I barely seem to find the time to watch the Korean ones often enough to stay less than a month behind. I've been tempted to try dropping the SRS for Spanish to see if that is enough to breathe some life back into it. However, I still find it very useful for Korean and Japanese (though it probably helps that I have plenty of motivation for those two languages). Then again, it could just be the source material (Assimil) that is sapping my interest for Spanish more so than the SRS. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
