Yes. I agree. But in language learning, I seem to do it hundreds of times per day. I really find the convenience of AutoCopy very worthwhile for lots of things, but especially language learning. As I use the program more I'm finding that I enjoy typing my own definitions since that seems to set them more firmly in mind. As much as possible I try to use my target language (Spanish) to write my definitions, and avoid English as much as possible. Once I've thought through how to write a definition in Spanish I rarely ever have to look up a word a second time.
I'm also finding that having a variety of texts from a variety of authors is a good idea. Instead of pounding away on the same piece of text I like to inject variety in my reading, so I bounce from 'Johnathan Livingston Seagull" to "The Pit and the Pendulum", to "Sun Tzu Art of War", and the "Jumping Frog of Calavaras County", etc. etc. I like to keep my reading fresh and interesting. I finally got around to installing the program. I think that I did everything correctly,
and I arrived at the page where you select your target language. To my surprise, Spanish was not one of the languages listed. There was only German, French, Japanese, and Chinese. just rename "French" to "Spanish" in "My Languages". Please read also the documentation on how to create languages and how the system works. 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

I had the same question. I'm using it with Spanish to. Go back to about post #105 in this thread and read the replies I got. To tell the truth, setting it up for Spanish is very easy. --gary 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

Version 1.0.4 has been released today:
Code cleanup and optimization, better code documentation. Checking maximum text length in text input/edit/check screens. Media directory is not included anymore, user has to create it if needed. The demo media are now all online. Installation is now a bit easier. The demo database installation is now done within LWT and is optional. If the database is empty, a hint on the main screen is displayed either to install the demo db or to start with the definition of a language. Backup/Restore now with more hints and an option to install the demo database. Documentation and screenshots updated.
