The entry gates have only just swung open for the next round of the 6WC, and I can already see several revolutionary caps of Team Sputnik standing in line, eagre to show their mettle. Can we ever possibly hope to top our performance from the last challenge in February? There's only one answer to this...
This isn't Sparta, people...this is SPUTNIK!!! :D

Right!
Personally, I know that there is no way that I could top my performance from last 6WC - I gave everything I had. However - we are several team members, with a lot of strong contestants, so as a team, I am sure we can do even better than last time. Who will top the list this time I wonder?
Aloysious - you made such beautiful charts for team Sputnik last time. Would it be possible for you to do it for this challenge as well?

I joined 6WC with Russian again! As I said in my personal log, my time is MUCH shorter now, but I'll try and do my best! =)

Yes, after much soul searching I ended up chosing Russian too. I would have loved to do Greek, but I would also love to be able to get to the point where I can say - yes - I can speak Russian - so I decided to do the sensible thing.
Besides with Russian I can work on the Super challenge and the Tadodku challenge in paralell with the 6WC - all in all not bad :-)

I am definitely doing the 6WC. And I will actually do it well this time, and keep up with it.
Moreover, since I need to prepare myself for Moscow, it's imperative that I really put my nose to the grindstone now.

Same here, I joined with Japanese again, for the same reasons as Christina mentioned,
since that way I'll be working in tandem with the 6WC and Tadoku. I would've loved if
there was the option of two rather than one target language, because my Russian is
getting a time bump up in numbers, and will be in full swing in July. Oh well, there's
still my log. So, currently, I'm registered for Japanese with both the 6WC in May and the
Super Challenge.

About the Skype session on Sunday: Would you prefer to do it later that day? I ask becuase the first time we had to do it that early because I was going to a party since it was New Year's Eve, but normally I have no problem doing it later, e.g at 8 o'clock.
Do you want to stick to 5 or is it better for more of you to do it later?
And I then assume that those of us who feel up to it will read out the dialogues 2 and 3 that Tecktight has posted earlier in this thread?
Who can make it by the way?

As for the 6WC, I already registered with Russian, in order to take it in parallel with the Super Challenge.
And as for the skype session, I think 8 o'clock is fine. We can work on dialogues 2 and 3.
