I aimed for 1919 and I got "only" 749, hmm.
The next contest will be March 15-31 apparently (so far only stated in the comments). I'll allow myself not to do German. Right now it seems like i'll be doing Italian and two of Portuguese/Croatian/Belarusian. I'll be hopefully rereading LOTR on matching days. (ie the 25th will be Teh Day) lol I just updated my log's first page today and said i'd def do Portuguese AND Italian for the next round... well, if I manage to read a lot of Belarusian by then, why not :-) 2 persons have voted this message useful | |

I was aiming for 2000 and got 1934. I'm annoyed because I would have made it, but was
feeling really ill the last night, so didn't get anything done. Still, I think it was pretty successful. I think the 2 week one might be better in terms of amount done per day a as I'll be more inclined to make a bigger effort over a shorter period of time. By then I might be able to do Spanish which would be great for the Super Challenge. I'm also tempted to do German too as I've missing it lately. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |

I don't remember how many pages I've read, but I've finished about the 23th place. I've read three Italian books, "Il Nome della Rosa" and "Il Pendolo di Foucault" by Umberto Eco, and "Le Città Invisibili" by Italo Calvino. This was my first Tadoku and I believe that if you think about it as a marathon, then it's going to be great. The most important thing is to find your possible rhythm, keep it throughout and try to stay around people on the same pace.
