Brun,
I would not mind being on the Middle Eastern team if there are going to be other French students there. Though I would like to move into Arabic at some point, my main concern is French. Do you think it would be possible to include French in the Middle Eastern team? If people from the Romance team want to join that, it would cut down on the Romance team size a bit and perhaps put off a different split.

I'd like to stay in Chung's team for Hungarian, hopefully with a smaller range of languages than 2012.
I don't want to be in a general Slavic team, but if there is a Czech team then I'd be up for that too, even as 'godfather' if no native Czechs come forward. I don't expect there to be a Czech team though. |

I'm happy to see that, hřibeček. I do warn you though that Hungarian doesn't currently seem likely to rise to the top of my list of target languages in 2013, so I'm not sure how helpful I'll be as a "wingman".
On another note, I'd be down with a Czechoslovak team if it'd help raise the numbers to make something with learners of Czech more in mind. Študenti češtiny alebo slovenčiny, pridajte sa!

I see that Travis.H is also learning French and Arabic and is on the team. If other French learners would like to join, that would be fine with me.
I will leave you on the Mid.East team as a tentative member for now, I think. There are still a few weeks until the end of the year and a lot more people are likely to join still.
If anyone studying French would like to be on a Middle East + French team, speak up.

I'd really like to join a Uralic team with Estonian but I can't commit to learning Estonian now, that would only happen if I realized my Norwegian reading skills were good enough so that I could proceed to the next language. So maybe TAC 2014 :/
Regarding Norwegian itself, I'd join a Norwegian team only if I don't have to set up a team that includes Georgian. I plan to join two teams at most, even though that means I'll keep/rename my current logs and just add one extra log for the languages not covered in threads of my own (that would be Russian and Chinese).

A Czechoslovak team sounds great! Lets hope a few more join it.
So does that mean that we're starting 2 teams at the same time? Hopefully Kisfröccs at least will join as a Hungarian student.

Since you are the only one signed up for Georgian so far, I don't know if there will be a team, but we can wait and see. If you know any other people studying it, you can suggest that they join.
