It's just the one. And it's basically mathematics with physical properties, so yeah, I consider it maths for dummies because you don't do maths - you apply maths to derive a lot of equations. By making a lot of approximations. Hence the "maths for dummies" comment. I don't like molecular thermodynamics. As my nominee for our team melody comes the "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from "The Nutcracker" which is my all time favorite when it comes to classical music. I only found the version used in "Fantasia", and should this one be elected I hope someone can find a better version.

Greetings fellow Team MIR members!
I have been a bit remiss in doing an introduction so to rectify this I will do a quick one now and fill in the gaps later in my personal learning log... I am a Canadian high school chemistry teacher with an interest in languages. My interest in Russian goes back to the 1970s and the perennial hockey clash between the USSR and Canada. The USSR was for many of us an exotic country shrouded in an iron curtain of mystery with a fascinating language. I was enchanted back then by all things Russian and especially the language. Fast forwarding to the early 1990s I had the time and means to take a Russian evening course at the University of Toronto. It was a very interesting experience but I can honestly say that I don't remember much about the Russian language. I would say that I am at the A0 level for Russian and I hope that during 2013 to make an effort to bring my level of Russian proficiency to the B1 level. I intend to focus more on the speaking skill initially then work my way through the writing and reading skills. I have the Assimil Russian course which I will start working through during the holidays this year and into 2013.
