I just registered for February's 6 week challenge. Is anyone else planning to?

Does that mean we cannot change our passwords at all then, as long as we wish to use the forum? Or is this just a temporary measure?
Also for the challenges: do we have to post here or is it for only on Lang-8, or our own logs? (I'll set up my own Lang-8 account soon)
And here is my completion of challenge #1:
Mi chiamo Peter. Cioè, Pietro in Italiano. Sono scozzese e ho ventidue anni. Mi piace caffè molto con un buono libro in il mio mano. Voglio imparare il greco presto, anche. |

The password/e-mail thing is a bug and as the administrator doesn't seem to be showing a great deal of interest in this site lately, it most likely isn't going to be fixed in the near future.
You can post your entries wherever you want: here, lang-8, or your own log. It would be nice though if you mentioned here what you've done so that I can keep track of your rank. You can also link to it if you want.
Some of the challenges don't really involved anything that can be documented, so it those cases, we just have to take your word for it anyway. Of course, it would be nice to hear how it went.

I'm toying with the idea, but I can't decide. I'm not sure if it will be motivating or stressful and as usual, I have plenty of stress already. I also don't know if I should do Japanese or Spanish. Probably Spanish since my Japanese is at a much higher level, but I don't know if my Japanese would then suffer. I really wanted to get my Japanese up to B2 this year, at least in all areas other than speaking.

I was going to avoid writing in Portuguese until I started to go through the grammar book I recently ordered, but I figured it can't hurt to write a little bit, just to join in on the fun. I haven't written anything in Portuguese since September, so this was interesting. Here's the link to it on lang 8.

Welcome! Good luck with your French!
@WoofCreature very very good! You made very few mistakes. Good job!
I've been lazy this week. Sometimes I have no time at all to study (I'm working full-time), and sometimes I'm just too tired for that. I hope it will change soon, since I got crazy and registered with Persian on the 6WC. I feel like I'm betraying the Romulans, but I promise to study as much Italian as this new language! Hahahaha

Welcome to the forum IdiomasdelMundo! Good luck with your language learning goals for the year.
I've been busy too with the semester ending and studying for exams and such. But on monday i wrote my last one
and so now it's back to Italian!
I just learned a lot of food vocabulary, so i figured i might as well write the shopping list for challenge #13. I won't
actually be going shopping with it though... it's more of a "what i would like to eat right now/practicing using
numbers and indefinite articles and new vocab" list. I hope thats ok. Anyhoo, here it is:
- una pagnotta di pane
- un po' di formaggio
- quattro mele
- tre arance
- sei banane
- degli spaghetti
- dei piselli
- dei fagioli
- delle patate
- una brocca di latte
- una libra di burro
- molta cioccolata!
