And also, i just read your introduction, which was pretty well done by the way, and i was wondering if you meant "tortue" instead of "tourte"? (that was a life of pi reference, right?) EDIT: Here's a challenge i've just had corrected on lang-8. It's #38, and my fourteenth. Quando mia sorella minore non va a scuola, è felice. Per prima cosa, si sveglia alle nove e fa colazione. Poi, legge un libro o suona la sua chitarra. Durante il pomeriggio, esce con amici. Torna a casa per cena e, dopo, gioca con i giochi da tavolo o guarda un film con la famiglia. I was also wondering, how are we supposed to do the oral challenges? Is it possible to post sound files? EDIT 2: One more challenge! #39 and my fifteenth. I didn't do the exact challenge, but it's pretty related, and it's a true story that my friend told me, so i hope its ok! La mia amica ha fatto una festa mentre i suoi genitori erano via. Dopo la festa, la porta del bagno era rotta e il gabinetto non funzionava più. Fortunatamente i miei amici sono riusciti a riparare tutti i danni prima del rientro dei suoi genitori. Però sua madre ha capito che c'era stata una festa perché in bagno mancavano sapone e carta igienica! Più tardi i genitori hanno scoperto che mancavano anche delle birre dal frigorifero. @suzukaze Welcome to the team. I've added your name to the roster. @Spanky I've got you down for your first challenge. I love your sense of humor. You always make me laugh. I won't be boycotting Canada, by-the-way. I still love you. Americans are often poorly thought of in other countries, so some of them pretend to be Canadian when abroad. (I hope that won't give Canadians an equally bad reputation.) @Emily I've marked down your 15 challenges. Way to go! What do you think about uploading here some voice recordings in our TLs as a challenge ?

If someone knows where or how to upload them, that would be great. I know you can record some stuff here on the forum, under your profile I think, but I've never tried it so I don't know what kind of limits there might be as far as length goes.

I tried a voice record in my TL, French, on soundcloud.com , creating an account
didn't take my time. It also enables you to record your voice directly on the site,that's why I liked it because you don't need to lose your time by recording your voice somewhere else and then uploading there. And here is the trial 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Great. Then it will be possible to do the oral challenges as well.
I listened to your recording and it certainly sounded like French to me, but since I don't know a word of French, I have no idea how good it is. There are probably some native French speakers around though, some maybe someone will be able to tell you. Was that one of the challenges?
