It was really interesting to read about your adaptation of the Glossika method. I would be worried about the pronunciation, but you say it gets better ... Maybe you start hearing your own mistakes?
I look forward to reading your log, especially since you are a language teacher. You will probably bring some interesting perspectives to this adventure!

Well, I'm afraid adults and teenagers are often not that different. I'd guess Jax's
students are either exceptionally motivated or he/she is an exceptional teacher. Or both

That's the first time I've heard of the Glossica method. Sounds interesting.

Even my senior ESL students acted like teenagers do most of the time. In my experience, the ratio of 'serious' learners (in the sense of willing to do anything resembling actual effort) is higher among those who decide to go solo (whether tutored or on their own) and not very obviously related to age either.
