Things are strange. I still listen to a lot of German songs, still ignore any direct study apart from passive: watched some Полиглот lessons and listened to CD1 of Paul Noble's German course. I don't feel any real improvement here, but it's like slowly opening gates. And, alas, since I had no time yesterday and haven't done anything even passive today as well, gates should go back to closing mode. Or they can wait? Oh, I don't know.
One thing for sure: some progress is possible. But if my mood for any study will be decaying, then the possibility just get lower.
Blah-blah-blah.

Okay, German Полиглот has a whole lot of mistakes, some of them were noticed even by me. Still it doesn't really makes things worse - on the contrary, after two lessons today I still can feel these "open gates". Ah...

Even Полиглот is abandoned now. A week of bloody madness, sleep deprivation, mental breakdown and waiting for its culmination, due to happen on Saturday.
Literally no German, which is terrible, but not that terrible as my university, which means that my hunger is calming down once again.
Speed English in QuizUp Android app. I even dare to play Grammar section there. Sometimes I manage to beat natives there. Okay, I don't know for sure if they are natives, but they claim to live in America. They have immersion, which I never had.
I wouldn't take these results too serious, lack of time doesn't really shows things, plus questions tend to appear way more than once through even 5 games. But it's still flattering :D
I hope to write a big post with my impressions at Saturday after our "English-Russian seminar", but I can't guarantee that my dear Formula 1 will give me time to do it.

Today was an English-Russian seminar called "Innovations in Chemical Technology" and I participated in it with small presentation about tar sands.
To be honest, that wasn't my best performance, but it was first one of that kind and I wasn't told that I failed, which is already good for me. My task was just to read all that I've written by me earlier on slides and answer the question. To be honest again, there were no questions to me, and I can't really explain why.
One thing for sure though - I want to try this format once again. And I don't care if it'll be just as quiet as it was for me today.

Is this "Learn German with Paul Noble"? Cuz thats a very very basic course, arent you
much more advanced than that? Themen Aktual 1 is way more advanced than Paul Noble.
