I may have misunderstood something here, but I would very much like to join as an individual participant, if possible. Due to time constraints and sometimes lacking an internet connection I'd probably not be a very reliable team member.
Language: Russian
Current level: A0 (Pimsleur 1, Lesson 17)
Goal: Something akin to a B1-CEFR level would make me very happy
I am considering taking up another language as well, but as of yet I'm undecided.

I would like to join the Spanish team. I am specifically interested in learning Latin American Spanish.
Gracias,
Tomás

Cavesa, are you going to update the first post at some point? If not it would be great if someone could open a new thread with an overview of all the teams and participants...

I've signed up for the Mandarin TAC team and team Sokoly (observer status only for the latter).

So here's my question. It was originally my intention to join this year's TAC, but I
didn't really sign up because I'm in a bit of an odd situation right now, where I won't
know which country I'll be living in for the next 6 months. Obviously, I don't want to
make a commitment just quite yet since this will also affect which languages I will be
studying. Hopefully I'll know what's happening soon, but will it be too late to join TAC?
Would I be able to just start a single TAC if need be in a couple weeks?

That shouldn't be much of a problem, Sizen, we usually have people who join a little later. It's possible that the team you'd want to participate in is full by then, but even in that case you can still do an individual challenge.
