It has been three and a half months since anyone has posted on this thread! We have three months left in the year to accomplish our goals. Where is everyone with their goals?
I've finished all my goals except I need to read three more books before the end of the year. I am going to shoot for a simple one book a month to close out the year.

I dropped the goals that I had set for myself in Spanish (100 Skype convos, 100 TV show episodes, 12 books, 100
short texts), because tracking them was such a chore. Instead, I signed up for the Super Challenge and I'm letting
the bot track my reading and watching/listening.
Even though I stopped tracking, I'm pretty sure I would have hit my Skype goal.
Writing? Bahahahaha! Yeah, not happening. I barely wrote anything at all in Spanish. I'm just not interested in
writing. I know that it would help me level up, but it's just too much of a chore. For the rest of the year, my goal
is Spanish is simply to do things that I enjoy:
- read books
- watch TV shows
- listen to podcasts
And that's it!
I'm not sure I'd join TAC again next year, to be honest. I don't feel that TAC has really had an impact on my
learning. I follow my teammates' logs, but that's not because of TAC - it's simply because I read any log written
by a Spanish-learner (and, to a lesser extent, French-learner). I do want to thank any and all of my teammates
who've kept a log this year! I've really enjoyed following your progress, and getting ideas and suggestions for my
own learning!

Unfortunately my interest in Spanish dropped quite notably by mid-year (and isn't likely to
come back anytime soon now that Japanese has revived itself full force), so I stopped even
tracking my goals in early August. As of that time here was my progress:
GOAL STATUS: Week 33
General 1 (Find a "hook"): In Progress
Course 1 (Complete Pimsleur Spanish 1-4): DONE (120/120)
Course 2 (Complete Assimil Spanish With Ease): 2/109
Course 3 (Complete Destinos): DONE (52/52)
Production 1 (Write 2 posts/week): 13/52
Team Lobo Challenges: 2/2

Ahem. I'm a little ashamed to say that my monthly goals stopped happening way back in March. But, I'm determined
to finish the year strong so I've put up some (very easy) goals for october in my latest log post learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=35043&PN=1& TPN=7">here (last post). In general I'm
watching more TV than reading right now, mostly Isabel in Spanish and 30 vies in French, plus a few movies on the
side. I'm also taking Spanish in school which covers the grammar and writing aspects.
I thought I'd never be one of those people who let "life" get in the way, especially as a carefree 17 year old, but it
definitely happens. I guess the important thing is to just jump back in whenever you can!

I'm still around, plugging away at the Spanish Super Challenge. I've got almost 100 "books" done already - although I am aiming for 200, since I did it last time around as well. I'm still posting in my log, and following most of the Spanish learners. :)

Would anyone be interested in starting challenges up again? Or perhaps doing regular Skype chats or something to try to keep up a rhythm through the end of the year?

I'm definitely interested in Skype since conversation is my least practiced skill. Challenges could be fun too =)
Edit: was february's song challenge the only one we actually got around to doing?? we need to get it together! haha

I show that there were two challenges according to my tracker, but I don't recall what they
were offhand.
