The other option was Belgium X Algeria, much better language-wise, but I couldn't have
guessed =D We order the tickets before the groups withdrawal.

Is there a German team? I don't want to let my German rust...
EDIT: And I will ask after a Middle-Eastern team again. Arabic/Persian/Pashto, anyone?

A few people have expressed interest in the previous pages (myself included!) so I assume
we've got a team? :)

I think there have been several people who want to study Irish (liammcg, jeff_lindqvist, sctroyenne, myself). Does this qualify as a team?
Maybe others want to join with their Celtic languages (Teango, montmorency, DaraghM, tarvos, vermillon, ...)? It would be great to have a Celtic team again!

Scandinavian. Not many people have expressed an interest on this thread yet, but, considering the size of the team this year, hopefully there will be enough for a team next year.

I guess I could try joining a team or two this time, I've already been keeping a log for close to a
year anyway. Languages I wish to study in 2014 (in order of importance):
Japanese: Now: ~6,000 words. Goal: 10,000. Also I'd like to learn to write it by hand (行書).
15 words and 6 Kanji a day.
Mandarin: Now: ~1000 words. Goal: 8,000 next year. 21 words a day.
Na'vi: Now... ~400-ish words? Goal: every single word in the language :) That's only
2644 as of now. Not counting tribe and plant names, etc... Not sure if I'll have enough energy left
after Japanese and Chinese though... 10 words a day.
Haven't used the CEFR levels because I'm not yet sure how far this amounts of vocabulary can
take me.
And I hope this post isn't too long.
