I, on the other hand, *am* doing Russian. I made two separate sign-up posts in this thread because I wasn't done
deciding at first.

I tried to categorize people by language, and including what I've seen in other
threads. This is a very rough take! I included anybody, wanderers and observers as
well as main participants ... and I'm sure I also missed a lot of people (I know
there's discussion in the TAC 13 threads), but I hope this helps to see where we're at.
I also tried to break out the multi-language groups into individual languages. We still
have a couple weeks to sign up, so some of the smaller groups could still grow.

Please excuse the cluelessness of this post in advance.
I can't be bothered to go back and read this entire thread in detail, so I'm a bit confused as to how teams are being created here. As far as I'm aware, I've only committed myself to a possible Persian/Iranian team, but I'm seeing my name popping up on all sorts of other lists (Mandarin, Croatian, Greek, etc.) too. Are those supposed to be lists of members of various teams, or just individuals studying a particular language? In the case of the latter, never mind, please disregard this. But in the case of the former, I'd prefer to only commit to one team this year, and that team would have to be for Persian...
Thank you!

Not sure if teams will exist for the languages I intend to study next year, but here are my goals nonetheless:
-German: from passive-B1/active-A2 (or so), my goal is to reach a solid B2, both passive and active.
-Hungarian: probably around A1 (the whole A0-A2 seems the same to me), I aim at B1.
-Polish: I must be around passive-A2/active-A1, and my goal is B1.
If possible, I'll try to take certification by the end of the year to evaluate the success of my goal and keep me on track with my studies. I'd like to join a team per language, at least for Polish and Hungarian (German teams tend to be too big for me, but I'm still considering it).
