Spot on. While you can still hover your mouse above the tabs to have the titles pop up, perhaps people who include the letters could do it at the end or in the middle of their titles. Maybe it could even be an official requirement... |
|

Just a friendly reminder to keep this in mind :-)
Also, if you want to remove these letters completely from the title, feel free to. Just keep the TAC tag. |

I've not done a TAC before, so I don't know how everything works. But why would you want to have everyone's log open at the same time anyway? How often are they supposed to update?

Not everyone's log, but the logs of a few people you are interested in. And you keep
them open in tabs to avoid hunting for them in the forum. Sort of like easy access
bookmarks.

That was introduced a few years ago, I think when there were no teams.
Nowadays if someone states their team it's obvious that they are a TAC participant. And
you can simply write tac without stating the year; lowercase is also somewhat more neat
tbh. |

Serpent, this encouragement to not put in TAC in the title should perhaps also be made
in the main introductory TAC post (wherever that is).

I'd like to join individual TAC 2014 with Korean, Spanish and English.
My Korean is currently at A2 level and I want to take it to B1/B2. Also I want to
understand tv shows without subtitles. As for Spanish I really hope for Basic Fluency at
the end of the year. With English I want to improve my writing skills so I without any
doubt I can say I'm at C1.

Gemuse mentioned a good reason to do that. For me it's usually more short-term. I go to the active topics and open all threads I want to read, roughly 3-5 at a time. I usually read the ones from the general discussion and other non-log subforums first, so by the time I've read at least 2-3 threads and sometimes much more, I no longer remember which logs I opened, let alone which is which.

Is there any room for me (and my Hebrew attempt) in any team?
