It seems a great information! nowadays we have no much time to visit many shops for the books of different language, so i think it is great news for them who really love the books.

I'm learning Serbian right now and I have yet to find a single reliable site that sells Serbian literature, or dictionaries, as I am in dire need of both if I wish to continue my studies. So if anyone has any information I would be delighted to have it.

For German books try globalbooks.de
Their shipping rates to the US are reasonable (e.g. no shipping cost for orders larger than 30 EUR using economy shipping) and okay for shipping to other countries, I think. Last year a family member in the US ordered a number of books and as far as I know he was quite satisfied. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

I am going to recommend three: www.skandimport.com www.ScandinaviaExpress.com www.nordicbooksonline.com Of the three, I find that Skandimport has the best prices and a much larger selection. (And they also sell Swedish textbooks)!! My experience is that Scandinavia Express has the quickest delivery to the U.S. I have not purchased anything from Nordic Books. I hope this helps. From Russia dot com This is an American online store, where the service and shipping prices are as quick and reasonable as you would expect for such a business. Highly recommended. Prospero's Books is an actual, physical bookshop in Tbilisi that sells mostly books in English for the expat community, but also has a selection of books in Georgian, many of which it sells in its online store. There is also a wide selection of books in English about the Caucasus in general. This is also the place to come to get your copy of ბილიკი (Biliki), which is an impressive series of Georgian textbooks published in Georgia for foreign students and pretty much impossible to get hold of anywhere else. HOWEVER, and it is quite a big however, hence the capitals, postage from Prospero's Books is by international courier, which means serious expense. I paid 90 euros to have a few books sent to me in Japan. Maybe Europe would be a lot cheaper. So I would suggest you go with From Russia first and Prospero's Books as a second choice. Bookstores in Norway that deliver abroad:
Norli http://www.norli.no/ Click on "kundeservice" at the top. Then choose "leveringsbetingelser". Apparently, to get books shipped outside of Norway, you have to send them an e-mail, or phone or fax. It doesn't have any information about prices for shipping, so you have to ask in the e-mail. Ark http://www.ark.no/ Click on "kundeservice" at the top. Then choose "leveringsbetingelser". It gives prices for sending books within the Nordic countries, and for the rest of the world. Haugen Bok http://www.haugenbok.no/ Click on "kunder i utlandet" on the left. It gives prices according to weight for different regions of the world. These are all well-known bookstores with good reputations. I have ordered from Norli myself (from within Norway), but the others are also good stores. I have no experience ordering from them from outside of Norway, but there shouldn't be any problems. It is important, I think, to check carefully because the prices on shipping could vary greatly. Also Norway is very expensive compared to most other countries, so no matter where you order from, it will cost you an arm and a leg. Also remember that duty and VAT can be added according to the laws of your country (so you ought to find out about that ahead of time from your country's customs department).
