Not sure what subforum this belongs in, sorry mods.
I was wondering if there exists an app to view/learn the kanji, frame by frame, from Heisig's book? I know there are
lots of SRS apps and flashcard apps for reviewing, but I want an app that will allow me to examine the actual frames
from Heisig's book and study new kanji that way.
As I type this, it occurs to me that that might constitute copyright infringement, so I guess I'll slightly change my
question and ask: is there any app that might allow me to take my own copy of RTK and use it this way? And if not,
could one be made? It would be SO useful to be able to cary around Heisig's book on my iPod, especially since its
screen is just the right size to display a frame at a time. ;)

there's an app that facilitates viewing kanji.koohii.com website, but you'll need
internet access to use it

Why not write to Heisig's publishers and suggest it?

I suppose we are speaking about Japanese, and we are also speaking about a book which you want in a software version. So there are at least three places this thread could be placed. But I had to choose one, so I have moved it to "Language Programs, Books & Tapes"

Thanks Iversen, I got confused because I had too many options. ^_^;
Kubelek, my iPod is broken and won't access the internet, so that's not an option for me personally but I am glad
that it's available to those for whom it will work. :)
Cainntear, I think I will do that. They may not be interested but at the very least I will have tried. :)
