Dunwoody press also has materials for Tagalog. Specifically, there's a newspaper reader and corresponding audio, and a slang dictionary.
I've ordered the reader and audio, but since the shipping costs are obscene to places outside the USA, I sent them there - so it'll be a while before I know if they're any good. A few other sites seem to sell the Dunwoody Tagalog materials, though.

Mind providing a more direct link? I'm having trouble finding information about it.

I've just added a Tagalog page on my website, which has loads of links. Here's some of the best ones:
GLOSS Tagalog - Intermediate lessons on reading and listening that use authentic resources.
University of Hawaii has several listening and reading lessons as well.
TUFS Language modules - I see you're studying Japanese as well, this might be a little too advanced but there's a huge video based course for Tagalog in Japanese, really nice, loads of exercises.
And there's also quite a few podcasts: Pinoy podcast, Learn Taglog show, Kalyespeak and Survival phrases Filipino.
And there are more links on my site if you want to have a look.

I have just started to learn Tagalog.
Has anyone completed "Beginning Tagalog: A Course for Speakers of English" with the tapes? How many words does this have, or how far does this get you?

I have spent hours searching the web for Tagalog audiobooks, audio files, anything.
The only audio I have been able to find (besides basic podcasts with way too much
English) were two audio versions of the New Testament of the Bible. Unfortunately I
have been unable to find the exact written transcripts for these two versions. Still,
it is a lot of audio from a native speaker. Hopefully this helps some of you. By the
way, these are free to download.
Choose the language you want and then click the "download bible ambassador to dowload,
it will load a helper program that you will need to install before getting the MP3s
http://www.faithcomesbyhearing.com/ambassador/free-audio-bib le-download
This is an older version. You can dirrectly download the MP3s or a zip file with all of
them.

If you find the matching transcripts please post them or PM me.
