Can anybody help me with the Chinese translation of the following sentence? Both

"It takes you a long time to make up your mind". Sounds like it is written in a passive way. I don't know if the
Chinese would normally say it in the same way as English instead of a more active way with "you" as the subject such as "You took a long time to decide": 你花了很多时间才决定。(nǐ huā le hěn duō shíjiān cái juédìng) or 你花了很多时间才作出决定。(nǐ huā le hěn duō shíjiān cái zuòchū juédìng) You can add "作出 zuòchū" before "决定" - "to come to" in the context of to come to a decision 你花了很多时间 refers to "you took a lot of time" Another way you might say it is: you thought for a long time before coming to a decision. 你想了多久才作出决定。(nǐ xiǎng le duō jiǔ cái zuòchū juédìng) You might even say it this way but the meaning is a bit off from the original such as "You'd need some time to consider": 你需要多少時間來考慮才作出决定。(nǐ xūyào duōshǎo shíjiān lái kǎolǜ cái zuòchū juédìng) You begin the sentence with 你需要多少時間來考慮 and the rest of the sentence is the same as above "才作出决定" "only then you come to a decision".
