Hello everyone o/
This gonna be my Dutch and Japanese log.
Learning two languages at once may be not the best decision I made, but since they both
are so different it shouldn't make too much trouble.
At the moment I am trying to set my goals for both languages and make an effective study
plans. I will upload as soon as I've finished preparing them.
Let the party begin! =3

TAC 2014 goals and learning materials
Dutch
I decided to learn Dutch after my friend from Belgium said he wants to learn Lithuanian. o.o I just couldn't leave that like this. So challenge accepted! :D
Listening: First of all I need to get used to the way Dutch sounds. This will be the hardest thing, I guess. I'll be listening to A LOT OF audio
recordings, watching news. Also going to use Pimsleur -Dutch.
Speaking: Most likely talking to my friend (trying to speak first time is such a masochistic activity XD ).
Reading and writing: I will start with "Dutch with ease" or "Teach yourself Dutch". Don't think I'll read anything w/o audio soon, because making
mistakes in the beginning w/o possibility to fix them would be really really BAD.
Also I'll use Memrise to improve my vocabulary (at least 2000 words this year). And some web pages for extra material.
Japanese
Ah, the beautiful language of anime! (joking) :D
But well this was my first acquaintance with Japanese. After I started to search for more info not only about anime/manga (as I started to draw in anime/manga
style), but also culture and country itself. I felt in love with Japan ^.^
It took some time for me to start learning Japanese. But here I am. :)
Goals:
*Finish Genki
*Learn at least 100 kanji
*Keep repeating hiragana/katakana plus some random stuff in Memrise.
I will continue repeating French as well (working on vocabulary improvement at the moment), but I won't add it to TAC this year :)

Hello my dears! =)
And this is my first weekly log for TAC 2014. <3
Dutch
I began my studies with countless hours of listening to Pimsleur's - Dutch and any random Dutch audio I was able to find on internet. My mp3 player is my best friend now (even in
my bed before sleep). =D And I should say this really helps me a lot, coz I start to understand where word starts and where it ends, at least. (First time I heard Dutch it sounded
smth like: blahblahblah....) =X AND I hope my pronunciation became better too. (Waiting for next skype chat with nandemonai. =D) Letters like G or R in Dutch... I really gonna
need some time before I can say them right. XD
Also, I started using "Teach yourself Dutch". Finished Unit 1 and did some extra studies for grammar (about verbs this time).
Should be ready to write my introduction for January challenge next week.
Japanese
Genki unit1. Working on words now.
Repeating hiragana, katakana and few words on Memrise (when it's not lagging as hell...)
That's it for this week. Have a nice weekend :)
