Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that Luca and David have just released the first
episode of a mini-series that looks really promising. the first episode about talent
was really great. Check it out:
Language Learning
Podcast
В первом эпизоде они обсуждают насколько важно иметь талант к изучению языков. Я с
удовольствием прослушал эту дискуссию!
P.S. Luca told me that he wants to create other mini-series, in all his languages and
about other topics than language learning
Очень рекомендую прослушать эти эпизоды всем :-)

I've watched the 3 part interview with the French Canadian and I'm extremely impressed. It's the first time I hear a person who is neither a native French or English speaker speaking both languages with no accent (or a very slight one).
It's funny how some people will nit-pick to prove he's not "perfect" or "native-like", when, for example, the native French Canadian made more errors than him during the interview!

This is actually fairly common. If a person scores 99% on a test, someone will criticize
and say the person is 1% off and is not that smart, when the critic failed the test. You
start realizing how ridiculous a lot of the criticisms are. Luca is very informative and
inspirational.

I don't watch many polyglots on youtube, but Luca is one of them. I'm especially impressed with his ability to get the accent right, i have heard very few non-natives whose German accent is that good. Plus, he is one of the few to make videos in that direction. I really hope to implement some of the things he says in his videos to improve my languages.
Is there already word out when his book will be published?

This reminds me of a famous Tim Minchin speech: "Don't just be anti-stuff. Be pro-
stuff."
It's so easy to define yourself in response to what you hate, as opposed to something
you love and actively support.
