SKYPE CONFERENCE CALL IN SEVERAL LANGUAGES: Saturday, 17 April 2010
I very much enjoyed skyping in a conference call being 5 people from this forum together in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Esperanto, German and (listening to) Danish on one single evening. This was multilingual skyping live! We had a conference call of 3 hours time. Thanks a lot to my "Skypies", this is really good language practice!

PS: Only Dutch and Portuguese were missing.

Excellent video as always. Not only did you make an informative presentation, but you got in your exercise lifting all those heavy books ;)
I use Van Dale on-line but I'm very disappointed that they make you pay for the full version...
The book of proverbs sounds very interesting. Dutch has some great proverbs.

Indeed, in the Nehterlands there is a lot of interest for proverbs. In bookshops I have seen already different interesting books dealing with proverbs. I generally find proverbs a very interesting topic.

Prettig weekend!

This was a very interesting video, Fasulye. Do you always use such disctionaries as in the video or do you also use online dictionaries? Until now I haven't found any good online dictionary for Dutch. Leo is very good for German and then you have WordReference for Spanish, English, but not for Dutch. We know each other already. Till then, I am very tired and go sleepling. Have a nice weekend!

POLYGLOT SKYPING, Saturday, 15-05-2010
I have just had a dosis of polyglot skyping again in Spanish, German, Italian and French. We discussed many specific aspects of language learning and integrating languages into our lives. What gave me food for thought is that other people are supported by their families in their way of developing polyglottery. I wish I had this as well, because such conditions would make my life easier. But you can't have everything in life... I am glad that my friends give me enough support for my language learning projects. Without such support it would indeed be very hard.
