*cue start of (another) Public Service Announcement*
I recently stumbled on a big collection of texts from Logos that was just too good to keep in relative anonymity in my log or the "Links and Resources" sub-forum. I think that the links could be handy for any of you who want some practice with L-R or to have another source of texts in your target language(s).
For your purposes, here are the links to the material in Russian. Click on the row of letters above the titles to get texts whose title starts with that letter. Texts with accompanying audio have a little blue speaker beside them.

not sure which have subtitles,
but I'm sure some must:

A good way to go about finding films is simply to look up something like "Best Russian films" on Google or
"Best ___
Russian films" (filling in the blank with your favorite genre) and then writing down the titles that seem
interesting to
you. From there, search for the film on Youtube, on Google Video, and then just on a standard Google
search.
Thanks! I'll do an extensive search, based on your tips.
You're bound to find the film with subtitles somewhere abouts on the web.
Here's one movie to start you out with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1lSfKqgGKQ |

Tecktight: thanks for the Russian films tips! I'll do an extensive search based on them. It's great you're
having your Russian improved, with all that practice.

Chung, thanks for that link! I'm having fun exploring that vast collection of texts. Oh, boy, yet another reason why I
never want to go to sleep, ever. If I had the option of being a vampire, I'd totally take it. Assuming there are no
messy Edward Cullen situations involved, of course. x_x

Pole tänu väärt. That site also has 228 texts of Estonian with about dozen having audio so that you can do a bit of L-R too. Unfortunately none of the 2296 texts in Russian comes with audio. Oh well.
