Update:
Memrising like crazy. I have jumped like 1500 places on the leaderboard during last
week. I could get in the first thousand in a few days!
Other than that, I am watching videos by JennaMarbles on Youtube. It is English but the
girl (who is hilarious!) speach gives a whole new meaning to the velocity of sound :-D
A challenge at times but well worth it.
I've watched a few other people but all in English. Any advice on vlogs in other target
languages of mine?
And I need to sort out my language learning materials a bit. They got in a bit too much
mess to my taste (and that means something...). I need to put those I want to use on
top of everthing else so there is no excuse of the kind "I'd spend half the time
looking for it anyways".

Good news, everyone!
I have just moved. And it is just awesome!
But there are worse news as well. I have troubles with my university studies. Too
complicated to describe. Briefly, it means I shouldn't put much time in my languages or
anything else. But that is not a news.
No matter the reality, I have signed up for two half challenges (Spanish and German)
and two advanced challenges (English and French). I have already started a bit. I'll
keep my progress here in the log. It will be slow till July but after that, I hope to
dive in. 20 months is a lot of time.
Oh, and I have much less access to the internet now but it will get solved during next
week. Despite it, I am fast approaching the rank 1000 at memrise (currently somewhere
around 1090).

Small success!
I am among the first 1000 at memrise, which means I have put in learning vocabulary
enough time to be happy with myself.
The result is some review of French and Spanish vocabulary, some pieces of corected
ortograph and some new words in both (Spanish gets harder), I have started German
beginner courses (which I plan to focus on from now on) and I learnt to read Cyrillics
and most of Kana (which has been an interesting experience. It is strange to "unlock"
the usual letter-sound connection, which varies just slightly among the languages I
learn, and create a different one).
Next goal-first 500 and completion of my own Spanish deck.
Second nice thing to announce is some progress in the Super Challenges:
English:
4 movies completed (A View to a Kill, and 3 pairs of Sarah Jane adventures episodes)
196 movies to go
Others-I gathered some material, started some reading etc...
I should probably edit the first post and put there something like a review of what I
did and what I plan to do.
And another good news!
The Švédština nejen pro samouky (Swedish not only for self-teachers) has finally been
published. It is a textbook from a high quality series which has been promised years
ago. I will get it in a few weeks. And Froncouzština pro pokročilé samouky (French for
advanced self-teachers) will be out this month. I'm not sure how advanced it will be
but it may be worth buying as well (two volumes, 1000 pages together, focused on
advanced grammar, some French alternatives, such as Belgian or Quebecois, and other
things. that sounds promising).

Added to Super challenges:
English book: Feast for Crows. I had read most of it before the challenge but still had
enough left for it to count.
English movies: 1/2 movie: An episode of Chuck (started the fifth series and the episodes
are bit under 45 minutes)
French movies: 2 movies-first two episodes of the Game of Thrones, each over fifty
minutes. And the French voices are beautiful, nearly as good as the original.
my challenge log above will need a bit more time to complete but it will be beautiful!

Thanks, Bjorn!
The tickers are nice but I have a trouble with them. I seem unable to create more of the
same kind on the website, it seems to allow only updates of these now. I need to find a
way around it. Perhaps some will need to look like counters to next holiday or will show
progress in % (ticker originally meant for savings). Or I'll need a different source.

So, no progress with the tickers but a few with my Challenges!
5 English movies (=10 episodes of Chuck, two more left till the end of series)
2 French movies (2 episodes of the Game of Thrones)
