Ok, right now I'm working through a couple of grammar books in my TL's, make anki notes of my weak spots (mainly verb cojugasions).

profielwerkstuk
Dans les pays-bas nous avons un système pour les élèves qui sont dans "la clase terminale", (dans les Pays-Bas nous avons un système scolaire differant qu'en France) et je me trouve, dès la semaine prochaine, dans cette classe. C'est qoui ce "profielwerkstuk"? Alors je l'expliquerai. Ben, dans les Pays-Bas nous avons le."vwo", c'est le niveau scolaire le plus haut. Sur ce "vwo" nous avons 4 profils. Moi, je choissisais l"EM" ça veut dire l'économie et la société (maatschappij). L'année dernière nous avons choisi, à deux, deux choix qui a plus au moins une connexion avec notre profile. Notre premier choix c'est la différence ente l'anglais brittanique standard (RP) et l'anglais irlandais. Notre deuxième choix c'est le role qui jouent les latino-américains dans la culture américain contemporain. Nous devons consacrer 80 heures à cette projet et après le présenter a nos familles, les autre élèves et nos professeurs. J'espère vraiment que nous aurons notre premier choix, parce que c'est plus linquistique. Ça me donne une raison d'apprendre l'IPA, et c'est probablement très bon pour mon anglais (parce que nous voulons le faire dans l'anglais, évidement). Gut, meine erste Woche in der Schule ist wieder beendet und, ich habe auch wieder Französisch, Deutsch und Englisch gehabt.
Sie habben alle ein vergleichbares Examen: 50% ist lesen (tekst mit fragen), 15% sprechen (Eine Debatte und eine Präsentation), 15% Brief schreiben, 15% hörprufung (Radio/TV mit fragen),und der letzte 5% ist die Note den ich voriges Jahr gekriegen hab. Das Brief schreiben ist das erste unterteil, also vielen Brieben schrieben den der Lehrer corrigieren wird, und viele wiederholung der Grammatik. Ich habe auch noch Zeit gefunden für Japanisch (Tae Kim's grammar guide) und Spanisch (active wave of l'espagnol sans peine). Vielleicht werde ich den test/prüf-Briefe hier auch setzen. BTW: We (my friend and I) got the difference between RP and Irish accented English for our "Profielwerkstuk". So that's where I have to dedicate 80 hours to, and I really like it!, and it's in English, of course. We're not sure how to go about it yet though... Not much time, school is sucking it all up !
I've written 3 letters (Fr, Du and Eng) I have to read books etc... loads of work for all subjects. On a more positive note though, we did an exam text from a couple of years back in French class, and I got a 7,5 (1 being the lowest, 10 the highest)! So I would have past the French exam if I were in that year, and we still have many months to go... The exam has texts from a B2/C1 level. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I don't know if this news has reaches beyond the borders yet, nevertheless I really want to write about what happend yesterday in the Netherlands because, I'm shocked.
A girl called Merthe turned 16 yesterday. She invited therefore people to her house, via facebook, and forgot to make it private. Yesterday the party was called "Project X Haren" approximately 10.000 people were invited, the police was in town and Merthe fleed her home with her mother. People came all day and at first, it all looked peaceful, and until about 9 o' clock everything was allright, it seemed like a party, then the atmosphere made a 180, people started throwing bottles, set fire to cars, looted shops and houses. The anti-riot squad made charges. It honestly looked like a war zone, and there were in fact casualties and even deaths (or so I've heard). I don't how this happend I guess it attracted a lot of hooligans, they should've organized a party on a different location... 1 person has voted this message useful | |

The busy one makes an appearance again!
Well in 2 weeks I'll have a test week, so I have to learn a lot and as a result I haven't done that much language study apart from English French and German. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Testweek is over! It went pretty well, not on all subject, but atleast the languages did.
