The last two weeks have been great, especially for my Russian.
At university, I got 9,7 out of 10 in my Russian exam about verbal aspect, yay for me!
=) Now, we're focusing on speaking and listening skills a lot. We did a lot of
exercises, learned some new expressions and the important part, we've had our 1st oral
exam this week. It was pretty simple, we had a small text and the goal was translating
it into Russian and telling it to the other students (and the teacher) without any
notes whatsover, just "improvising". I think I did great!

Since I have some boring classes at uni, in order to do something productive during
them I started writing some simple articles in Russian. That way I can practice, and I
wanted to ask if some native here in the forum could correct them for me, I'd be very
glad. The 1st one is about one of my favorite TV series (and books) nowadays, "Game of
Thrones":

"Игра Престолов

В настоящее время один из моих любимых сериалов называется “Game of Thrones”, или по-
русски, «Игра Престолов». Этот сериал родился из одноименной книги, которая
рассказывает о королевстве Вестероса.
Целую книгу автор Джордж Мартин рассказывает историю Вестероса с точки зрения
нескольких персонажей, которых зовут Эддард, Кейтилин, Робб, Бранн, Санса и Ария Старк,
Джон Снег, Дейенерис Таргариен и Тирион Ланнистер.
     Эддард Старк – лорд северного города Винтерфелла. Он честный и уважаемый мужчина,
женат на Кейтилин и отец других Старков и Джона Снега. Роберт Баратеон, король
Бестероса и его друг детства, приглашает его, чтобы он стал «Рукой Короля» в столице
королевства, Королевской Гавани. Он соглашается и едет туда вместе с Сансой и Арией. На
его месте остаётся Робб.

«Сумасшедшим Королём», и он был убит в последней войне. Теперь, она и её брат Визерис -
последние живые Таргариены и хотят взять престол обратно. По этой причине её брат
хочет, чтобы она вышла замуж за большого рыцаря дотраки (?), Кхала Дрого, и подарила
ему армию.
     Тирион Ланнистер – брат королевы и карлик. Ланнистеры – самая богатая семья
Вестероса. Так как Тирион не такой сильный, как его брат Джейме, он решил развивать
свой интеллект. Вначале он едет со своей семьёй в Винтерфелл, и потом едет с Джоном
Снегом в (к?) стену, чтобы её посмотреть.
     «Игра Престолов» - первая книга из серии «Песнь Льда и Огня». Серия будет иметь
семь книг, из которых пять уже были выпущены."

NEDERLANDS:

Ik heb les 39 van Assimil gedaan, maar ik moet nog de oude lessen herbestuderen, want
ik voel dat ik een paar woorden heb vergeten. Les 39 was makkelijk, daarom geen
probleem. Ik heb ook met veel vrienden gesproken op Skype en Livemocha.

ENGLISH:

Keeping up with my series, now watching a looooooooooot of old "Friends" episodes. By
the way, could "Game of Thrones" be more awesome?

ITALIANO:

Lo stesso di sempre, niente di nuovo. Livemocha, MSN e Skype. Aiutoooo, voglio parlare
Italiano più spesso! =)

FRANÇAIS

Finally! My wife's girlfriend has a friend who was willing to give French lessons for
free. I thought "why not?" and went for it.
Well, he's not a greaaaat teacher, and since he only has 1 hour a week to teach I'm
sure that I could improve MUCH faster studying by myself, but since I still have
Russian and Dutch to focus on and it's for free, again, "why not?". We only learned a
few simple sentences like "Vous vous appelez comment?", "Je m'appele...", "S'il vous
plaît", etc.

Ha,ha, I always try to look for situations where I get to sit and watch TV with my friends while my husband
and his friends do the cooking, but for some reason, that fails to happen very often :-)

@Cristina It's great to be spoiled by our wives, I bet your husband feels the same =)

Guys, IT'S F-I-N-A-L-L-Y OVER!!!!
I couldn't stand any more exams, but I've finally passed it =) The final result was
"Fabrício 10 x 1 UNICAMP". I almost got every subject done, but failed in 1...well, at
least I'm 10 subjects closer to my graduation!
Since I'll be on vacations for the next 1 or 2 weeks, I brought home my Assimil Dutch,
some Russian textbooks and a book in Dutch (and it's equivalent in Portuguese), so I'll
try to read it using the one in PT as a "dictionary". Lets hope it works! =)

So that's it guys, I hope I'll have better news next time!

your best. That's most important. And I mean, goodness knows, even all of us on here knew how much you were
studying.

FINALLY the forum is back! \o/ \o/ \o/

My last post was deleted, it's a pity, but that's a really low price to pay, since we have HTLAL back! =)

Anyway, basically I was telling about the CouchSurfing meeting I attended here in São Paulo and how great it was! I've been able to practice my English non-stop 3 hours straight, for free, with Brazilians and foreigners, drinking beers, it was AWESOME! =D

Also, I've been a little lazy during the last 2 weeks, but my vacations were well deserved =P
Now I'm already back taking up Russian and Dutch for the 6WC.

Вчера я посмотрел русский фильм - <<8 Первых Свиданий>>. Не очень хороший, но смешной. Мне было очень трудно всё понимать, потому что люди говорили ОЧЕНЬ быстро. В любом случае, это полезно для занятий.

Nu ben ik terug met mijn Assimil lessen. Ik heb gisteren les 40 gedaan, en morgen begin ik al les 41!

ITALIANO:

Ho conosciuto un canale/Vlog su Youtube di un ragazzo milanista, parlando su calcio, notizie del Milan e cose del genere. Mi è piaciuto un sacco! Ho guardato tutti i suoi video in 1 giorno. Se conoscete anche qualche canale o podcast Italiani od olandesi su calcio, raccomandatemi pure! =)
