Today, something interesting happened. I got my Chinese name! It's inspired by my Russian
nickname, but it's developed through a few conversations with my Chinese teacher.
鹤小高 is the name, and it reads something like "Young, tall crane bird". Not too bad as
names go... though a bit rare :)
(For those who like Pinyin: He4 Xiao3gao1)

For what it's worth, that would be read as 학소고 (hak-so-go) in Korean. The character order
is a bit different than I would have expected (crane-small-high), but I've never studied
Mandarin so who knows.

I think it may be because He is the surname here. I did not give myself this name, so :)

So I've set myself a little challenge for the coming month: achieve listening and writing
proficiency in Norwegian. I'll be doing a bit of work on Bokmål first, but then I want to
do Nynorsk as well (the more interesting variant imho). The teacher I am going to use is
from Ålesund, so no Oslo dialect for me.
