Men
det är inte nu...

Class cancelled due to unsufficient participation and that's that. I'm a little relieved
because I'm not sure I actually have time for Mandarin anyway, but it kinda sucks because
I now have to reschedule some other things.
Furthermore I have been working on my Swedish, French and Russian diligently. I have to
do the repetition round for TY Unit 18's vocab word list, and I am going to start on unit
8 of FSI Swedish tonight by doing the dialogue (and repeat and practice).

I've been suffering from a swollen throat the past couple days. The pain is starting to
abate but I have not found much room for language study in the past two days. I did do
part of a wordlist on the bus to university this morning (the Russian repetition round
as mentioned earlier) and this means that I will have to either adapt my schedule or
catch up on studying Swedish tonight (which basically means the second dialogue
repetition will have to happen later on the same day instead of spaced out over two).
Since Chinese has fallen through for this semester at least (and I don't think I'll be
at uni after March) the plan is to just drop that altogether and let it be. It would
have been hard to cover along with my other languages, and as such my Swedish can
remain in focus. It might mean that November will become an interesting timeslot for a
new language. I hope to have finished FSI Swedish (roundabout) by November and that
means (since Swedish progress is swift) I will be able to add something else to my
study regimen by that time, especially since by that time I also hope to have finished
all my basic Russian materials (I have two more TY units left to go and about 8 more of
Colloquial - although my plan is to use this coming Sunday as a study day because no
football - so all the time in the world to focus :)

Also, today is my birthday, so wish me a happy one!
