Today's study consisted of a lot of Russian (did homework for Thursday class), one
Assimil Romanian passive wave and two Assimil Breton active wave. I have now completed
the Breton active wave until lesson 69 and the Romanian passive wave until 24.
Tomorrow is train day, so I will bring both my Hebrew and Romanian books. Hopefully I'll
manage to do both. I have also put all the audio to Assimil Le Roumain on my smartphone,
so I will be able to work even if there is no internets (and I won't need to pull out my
laptop, which I do need if I do the Routledge course).

Furthermore I managed to do two lessons of le Roumain, two units of the Routledge
course, and threw in some Swedish, German and Breton in the above conversation. I also
did over 200 Anki reviews.
Anyone who does not think I was productive today can go away :D

News on the job front: we shall see. First signs are okay. Within two weeks I guess we
will know more about Romania and my chances to move to Timișoara.
Linguistically the past days have been spent on French (final test), Russian (which is so
much better now that I understand what is being said to me), Breton (completed one more
active wave lesson), and Romanian of course.
I am going to university soon and will continue with another Romanian lesson today I
think, lesson 27 (short anecdotes. I think it is marvellous that these appear once every
week. Bravo Romania!) If I have time I will catch up on some Hebrew....

More news on the job front (though unrelated to Romania): I am now a COMMUNITY TUTOR at
iTalki. I teach Dutch and English. I offer very cheap rates (mostly because I am only
able to do this part-time at the moment with a thesis and another job that I work on
Saturdays). If you are interested in studying Dutch or English with me, my profile can be
found here:
Tarvos' teacher profile
And as I have no class to teach today, I will go and spend my time on improving my other
languages. Starting with Breton!

I tried to apply for this once but I missed the chance when they wanted me (don't know
why, I think I was afraid of giving too much personal info) and now I think they have too
many Brazilians :P
Good luck tarvos, hope you get lots of credits and get great lessons on your target
languages later!

Icelandic reading
I just had a shot at pronouncing Icelandic text without listening to the audio first (!).
I know it's a pretty inaccurate representation of Icelandic sounds, but I did my best -
this is the VERY. FIRST. STAGE. I go through when attempting to learn another language
(not that I am going to learn Icelandic for a while). This is the very first thing I try
to get right. You'll notice some mistakes with intervocalic 'g' (which I somehow ended up
pronouncing as /g/ and not as the correct /ɣ/, furthermore I screw up the word læra and
pronounce it as in Swedish for some reason. (and some other things)
