For whatever reason, when I am ready to advance in Yonsei, I look forward to it. When I see Integrated is due, I feel like I'm trudging through something I don't want to deal with. |

If I were you, I think I'd just ditch the textbooks I didn't like. You have so many resources that it seems like overkill, if you use all of them to the maximum. If you're worried about not getting the grammar right, that shouldn't deter you from progressing to the next lesson. It will all become clear in a while.

Can I ask why you are using so many books for Korean? I think the four resources you have put in your 'like' category could be enough. |

The first reason was because I wanted to see which ones I liked. I had a hard time finding reviews for the book series I was finding, so I bought book 1 of several series to try them out. The second is because I like listening to dialogs over and over again, and because I also "mine" sentences for reading practice and SRS, and I needed sources to get those sentences and dialogs. But now that I have an idea of which ones I like and don't like, I will be pushing the ones I don't like to the side.

Yeah, after thinking on it for a day, I agree with you. I am just going to put aside the ones in my "dislike" column and just use them as a source for dialogs and sentences if/when I need them (which is what I've already decided to do with KoreanClass101).

Chinese Assimil Lesson 13
TY Bengali chapter 4
Korean TV: Heroes episodes 3 and 4. Really taking to this show. The end of episode 4 where they had the managers drive away if their star wasn't in the top 6 was hilarious.

Assimil Challenge
I've decided to drop out of the Assimil challenge. I learned what I needed to learn from it, that Assimil Chinese being done the way Assimil says to do it is not enough for me. Maybe it'd be fine with a European language, but giving only 30 minutes a day to learn characters, vocab, pronunciation and grammar is just a bit too much. I'm still going to stick with Chinese, but I'll be doing 1 ChinesePod.com Newbie lesson a day. They're only 4 lines long and don't get as difficult as the lessons in the 20s of Assimil get, so I can take my time with it as I still spend most of my time with Korean.

Bengali: TY Bengali Chapter 6 - writing exercises
Korean: TTMIK Level 3, Lesson 17 ; Korean Grammar In Use Beginner 3.13

And since the last time I updated on my Korean TV watching, I've watched Heroes episodes 7 and 8 and I've watched Running Man eps 33-38.
