Languages: Russian and Icelandic
(If I have the time, I would also like to brush up my Swedish and Italian and dabble in some languages like Scottish Gaelic or Japanese)
Team: I would like to join the Russian Team, if possible!
This will be my first TAC, so I'm excited what I'm getting myself into. ;)

Don't tempt me ;). I'm trying so hard NOT to go seriously into Russian now :) (and
Spanish, Dutch, and a couple of other languages, including your beloved Finnish, by the
way). Everytime I look at the 6WC website, I'm jealous of your language routine ;P

You are on the Germanic team and I will leave you with a question mark as far as the Romance team goes until we see if anyone else studies Galician. I doubt that anyone does though. I don't think I've heard of anyone.

As it's still soon to close the groups, perhaps it would be possible to create one for the less known romantics, so people eager to learn languages such as Aragonese, Piemontese, Bable, Retorromanic, Moldavian dialect (Romanian), Galician, Catalan, Sicilian, Occitan, Corsican or the like can have a common place. They (perhaps we) could be part of the wider Romanic group in case there's not enough people, of course. Probably that'll happen, actually.

I think there are a couple of people on the forum studying Catalan, but I haven't heard of anyone studying any of the others. But as you say, it's still far too early to tell, maybe some will show up.

Could I be put on the Romance team, I'd like to do Spanish, but I'll also be doing a
little bit of French.
