So far I see the following options:
1) Keep Team *jäŋe / *ledús which encompasses Balto-Slavonic and Finno-Ugric
2) Start a new team for Uralic-Altaic (with or without Slavonic; this would largely modify Team *jäŋe / *ledús to include Samoyedic and Altaic languages)
3) Start a Czechoslovak team which would run regardless of whether 1) or 2) apply.
It seems that Team *jäŋe / *ledús can function happily on its own for 2013 with hribecek's Hungarian and my Finnish, Polish and Ukrainian (among others), in addition to anyone else who will study at least one Finno-Ugric or Balto-Slavonic language.
I suggested the Uralic-Altaic team just because it'd fit with my plans to work on Finnish, Hungarian and Turkish in 2013. We'll see if it'll come into being at all.
However as I said earlier, there's still time to figure out which teams will form.
In any case, I'm putting a formal request for at least one guiding spirit/elder in each of our target languages. For sure we'd need someone for each of Finnish (*cough*Serpent*cough* :-)) and Hungarian (*cough*maxval*cough*) among others. |

So for the time being we can say that the Czechoslovak team is certain now there will be at least 3 of us, if nuriayasmin70 definitely accepts.
We can wait a bit longer to see how the other team will be formed.
Maxval already works as a tireless Hungarian elder without the official status.

Cool. You're very welcome to join the new Czechoslovak team with me and Chung and maybe others. |

I thought that the Czechoslovak team was combined into *jäŋe /*ledús since you are all on that team anyway. Is it to be a separate team? Is *jäŋe /*ledús supposed to be just Uralic-Altaic without Slavic?
nuriayasmin70: I put you on *jäŋe /*ledús for now until I find out what's what.

Team(s). I wouldn't mind being part of two teams.
While I have completed the last three TACs, there is a possibility that I won't be able to finish 2013's TAC. I have signed up to enlist in the military, and I can't study languages in basic training and advanced individual training. However, I did get medically disqualified (and my status is being reviewed after going through more medical testing), so I could end up permanently disqualified and would be going on with my civilian life, allowing me to continue the TAC. |

I put you on the Asian team and the German team.

*jäŋe /*ledús and Czechoslovak people:
Please bring me up to date.
1) What language families does *jäŋe /*ledús include?
2) Is there a separate Czechoslovak team that is neither part of *jäŋe /*ledús nor the Slavic/Romance team?
3) Who are the members of each team?

As soon as I figure out which team that is, you're on it. For the moment I will put you on *jäŋe /*ledús with everyone else.

Brun,
I am going to be decisive and say to just include me on BOTH the Romantic/Slavic and the Middle Eastern team. Final decision! I think I will be able to offer an acceptable level of participation for both teams.
