Wort:
You’re added to the Romance team for Spanish
Jax:
You’re on the Germanic team.
Spanky:
Your link should be correct now.
Regarding all this Dutch team stuff: I will leave it as a separate team for now. If you change your minds it is possible to combine the Dutch and Scandinavian teams in the future.
tarvos:
I added you as godfather for the Dutch team
fabriciocarraro:
I added you to the Dutch team.
Cristina:
If the Dutch or some other team were to combine with the Scandinavian team, you wouldn’t have to give up your position as godmother. Godparents aren’t expected to know all the languages of mixed teams and tarvos offered to be godfather for Dutch.
Viking is a fantastic name for a Scandinavian team. They were indeed good at annihilation. I suggested Samurai or Ninja as good annihilators for the Japanese team, but I don’t know that anyone is interested. There’s also Kamikaze, but since they usually annihilated themselves in the process, that might not be such a good choice. I do feel a bit annihilated now and then though.
Danac:
I added you to the BCMS team.
Expugnator:
There is no separate Norwegian team. I have you on the Scandinavian team. There are two others there learning Norwegian and there is also a Norwegian godmother.
And it never ends. You keep going until you die :-| That's why it’s called the Total Annihilation Challenge.
Ogrim:
I added your link.
Romance team:
You are getting very large with 22 members so far.
Germanic:
You are so far behind. 17 members so far.
What’s all this about football and hockey!? This isn’t PE. We are choosing up teams for TAC, not for football :-D

I unwittingly may have started it when I likened the sudden emergence of the Czechoslovak team's 6 members to the starting lineup on a(n ice) hockey team.

Hold on, please =D A Scandinavian team with people learning Danish and Swedish would confuse me at this stage. I'll stick to the Russian team with all my 4 languages and only move one or all of the other 3 to another team later. I'm following this topic close and I'll let you know. Thank you for the good job!!

Brun,
We might be getting larger in this thread but we haven't seen too many check-ins over at
the Romance Team thread! For all potential Romance Team members: please com talk to us
over at our official thread! Let's be a team and not a loose collection of individuals.

Regarding Dutch, I would like to be in one team for it, but I won't be able to tackle Dutch before next February. Being realistic, I'm busy enough now with German and English and maaaany other things. As I expect to be in the Netherlands by next February, I'll take Dutch then. That makes me fear not to be a "TAC teammate" for 1,5 months, so the idea of being part of a larger team in terms of number of languages sounds appealing to me. If that doesn't happen, I'd still enjoy reading the logs, but it wouldn't be the same since I wouldn't be really a piece of the machinery. Of course this is a selfish point of view stated on the basis of my personal situation!! I understand everybody has got different situations to consider.
