Since I seem incapable of posting those links in a vaguely nice-looking way, I'll learn
how to do that first before I post mine. I always copy the way everyone does it as best I
can and yet it never seems to work!

Don't worry! I know about your log, and will add it as soon as I get to a computer where I can add links (which I can't at my job computer).

Two things:
I am extremely honoured to be nominated as your captain, and I would of course accept the post, the only thing is that I would like to know that I have an actual majority of the team behind me, as there could still technically be someone else who got just as many votes. We are keen on true democracy in Norway :-) So if the rest of the team would give their opinion, I would be very happy, and accept the post should I get more votes.
Another thing entirely: I was at the Opera yesterday, watching the Nutcracker by Tjaikovski. There was so much wonderful music there, that I started thinking that we need not limit ourselves to pictures of spaceship, or warsongs. One of the reasjons we study Russian is the diversity of its culture. Could we think along the lines of most beautiful piece of music, most beautiful painting or picture, most gripping poem by Pushkin (and the most annihilating, belligerant motto, that was ever created :-)

We can always use Swan Lake as our motto.

I am not quite sure we have the same concept as to what a motto is :-)

Firstly, I'm sorry about the crappy picture suggestion, I just thought I'd give the most
obvious suggestion. Secondly, I also nominate Solfrid Cristin as team leader, but I
thought that was obvious.

I thought that was obvious as well, but if she finds it strictly necessary, I'm casting my vote for Cristina, too =D
