Hey, how is everyone doing? Personally, I have done very little Russian lately, but I have high hopes for the Easter Vacation which is coming up next week.
I have had two lunches with Russian friends lately - where I spoke English with one and Norwegian with the other - I so need to get out of my comfort zone - and I met a Russian in the elevator today with whom I exchanged the total of 9 words in Russian. I hope you guys have been more successful. I am far from being up to full speed yet, but I am trying to get the engines going on our faithful spaceship- and inspiration from the rest of you would be a good thing. I'm doing moderately fine. I have noticed a huge boost in oral Russian comprehension which was a welcome thing. I am further solidified in my belief that my other "speaks" languages are not suffering from neglect.
I have also decided that after I finish Le Breton's 2nd wave that I am going to let Breton drop and simmer for a while. Romanian is going okay. Hebrew should become more focused but I haven't had time and besides my mind is on things besides languages more than once a week. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Same here! I am doing pretty well. I'm not doing as much as I would like to, but what else is new? And my Russian class is going fine. I just got a test back that I thought I didn't do so well on, but turns out I got a 98! So that was a nice confidence booster. By the way, exchanging 9 words in Russian in an elevator would feel like a huge accomplishment to me. :) 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

I haven't been doing much language-wise for the last few days. I'll post the details in my log tomorrow. Will there be a meeting this weekend?
