Message to star base, open subspace channel...
The last couple of months seem to have sucked my hopeful little starship into an inescapable black hole of unrelenting work and study, but it looks like I'm finally managing to pick up some escape velocity on the other side of this and am on my way back to the Mir team space station for refueling. The first quarter of 2013 has been up and down for many of us, so I'm hoping with Easter round the corner, we'll all build up new momentum, work our way around those unpredicatble asteroids that life throws in the way, and make the second quarter shine!

mrwarper reporting from deep space...
Я также 'здесь', but I haven't even set up my browser to type Russian comfortably, so you can't exactly say I'm hell bent on keeping my Russian goals (which I wisely set as 'getting anything done' so I can actually meet and even surpass them any minute I really want ;) Sorry, but I've been too busy enjoying life a bit more for a change, and getting other stuff done, like scanning books.
At first I thought I'd be doing audio study meanwhile, but I found myself chatting along with my cousin while he scans his own books as well... Anyway, I got me a beautiful, beautiful Russian book (Жюлья Верна История географических открытий ← how any mistakes in just 5 words? ;) to scan from my friend Саша — that's a whole lot of interesting stuff to read (~900 pages, with beautiful XIXth century illustrations) so this time I'm 100% sure I'll do something eventually. Some day. (I also own a big Russian Bible and as you can expect that's a completely different kettle of fish ;)

If you mean by Жюль Верн, then "История географических открытий" Жюля Верна. The ь is not
needed here.

Rightyho lads, we've got a whole load of members and a whole lot of people who have been absent or not contributing. Roll call and bring your MIR uniform!
(if not, the badge will suffice!)

I've never left but my study has been a little bit lazy and predictable. Logging in just to inform I've done one more lesson of Assimil doesn't seem like a fun pastime.
