I think for a mandarin song I might do 杨坤 - 不见面的朋友。 I can't find a video of the song anywhere which is a bit
annoying, but I managed to find the lyrics. For Khmer I am undecided, but it will probably be one (or a few) of the following - ខេមរៈ សិរីមន្ត - បងខុសហើយ, ខេមរៈ សិរីមន្ត - ទៅដណ្តឹងកូនគេ, ខេមរៈ សិរីមន្ត - ឈឺឈឺឈឺ or ឆាយ វិរៈយុទ្ធ - កុំភ្លាចប្រាប់គេថាអូ នជាសង្សារបង 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Cool challenge.
Unfortunately I don't listen to a lot of music. :( Could anyone suggest some Mandarin songs for me to have a look at? PS: I did manage to make a recording of myself speaking Mandarin, but I can't upload it 'til I find my USB lead. *rollseyes* I know it's around here somewhere, so I should have it up at some point this week (hopefully). @Hidden Linguist: is there still some genre you prefer? Pop is simply everywhere, and I could recommend some Rock (old school and modern) as well as some Folk.
