We didn't really speak any Swedish, it was sans-serif, serpent, julie & me. It was more
an introduction conversation, getting to know each other a bit and speaking about
languages in general and about ways we study.
We decided to have the next conversation same time, next sunday. We were thinking about
choosing a few subjects and speak about that.
We can start with introducing ourselves in our TL. Anyone got any other subjects?
(Maybe we should have a look at the Challenge list and pick some things from there)

So people, we're 1,5 month into TAC now. We probably have a few inactive members already
but that doesn't matter. How is it going for everyone?

Well, I'm still in the game :). I was pretty happy with my progress in January, especially in the first 2-3 weeks (you're all more than welcome to follow my log :)).
Then my life got in the way: first I was crazy busy, had a lot of work and in my learning time, I had to focus on German. The very beginning of 6WC was still not all that bad but then it got much worse. I had even more work and then I got sick. I've been on pretty strong meds and painkillers for a couple of days and I basically sleep A LOT and do some easy and relaxing stuff in my strongest languages, while trying to catch up with my non-language-related work when I'm feeling better.
Oh, well, there'll be better times :). Next week the semester break is over and I'm going back to my Swedish course.

I'm pretty much happy about my Norwegian! I have the feeling that the language will
"click" at anytime soon, things make a lot of sense now. I really don't want to spend the
whole year of 2013 on textbook studying, I want to deal only with native materials (the
way I'm doing in French, for example) already in October. That will demand me to be very
critical of myself as for whether I need to finish some textbooks just for the sake of
completeness or reading novels will do better to my progress.
My listening comprehension is not bad, I don't think it's falling behind the other skills
as it usually happens.

I'm a bit pressed for time, but I try to squeeze in a few hours of language work each day. Can't say much about progress though, it's hard to judge at the intermediate stage. Danish is taking most of my language time right now, but I'll try to slowly increase my work in Norwegian and Finnish. I'll try to do more overall in March ;)

NO DANISH COURSE POSSIBLE ANY MORE
I cannot do my Danish course in Düsseldorf anymore in general for the future. I have calculated that this course (inclusive metro tickets) costs me 130 EUR course fee plus 250 EUR additional ticket fee = 380 EUR per year and I have to econnomize a lot, so I definitely cannot afford attending this course anymore. So it is as it is and I will continue studying Danish by doing self-study. I have 3 different textbooks to work with and a lot of native level texts for my previous Danish courses. Especially many pages of the book "Kronprinsessen" which were read in the course BEFORE I became a member of it.
