Obviously, I had some trouble figuring out how to say "Bruxelles" in Italian.

And here's one more in
German.
I think my pronunciation on one of the umlauts got messed up by a brain glitch where I started thinking in French
for a split second...

Inspired by the example of teammate tastyonions, I decided to try posting a recording of myself speaking French.
This is both my first attempt at making an audio recording on this computer and my first attempt at sharing a file
via dropbox, so apologies if this doesn't work at first.
My clip is here,
or at least I hope it is. |

Sounds good to me.
Why is there a bunch of reverb on it? Did you record in a church or something? :-P
It's great to see more people posting sound files!
[Edit: also, the German file doesn't seem to work on my computer.]

Hmm. For some reason the German file from the link didn't work for me, either. How about
this?
BTW, I had to use a different computer to get your files to play for me, and it looks like I'm having the same issue
with the German file now. I take it you guys got my French and Italian though, despite the HTLAL link issues I had
with the Italian one.
Rebooted my computer, and things worked a bit better...let's try this one more time...

Thanks, Anya. I learned German in Bavaria, where I attended the local German elementary school for two years, so I
consider myself to have an unfair advantage when it comes to honing my German accent, but I'll take whatever
advantages I can get!

No idea. I recorded it while sitting at the dining room table.

Hi! I will be working on my Italian this year too. Nice to see that we are more people doing the same language!
