I didn't need to back date for the challenge, but for my own record keeping.
Thanks anyway.

Ugh, jinxed myself. I was aiming for 80 hours for my target, 100 overall but that probably won't happen now. 1 week down already and I only have 6 hours on target, 6 hours and 40 minutes overall. I will be done with my current project by the weekend so maybe I can make up ground and get to that 80/100 goal, but I'll be aiming for a more realistic 60/80.

Does anyone know what time zone the bot is in? I know that people
insist that it matches our own individual time zone, but ... it's still Saturday where
I am, but the twitter bot says the last couple hours I logged happened on Sunday.
Tracking by date isn't an issue for me, but I would like to know how many hours short
the cut off time will be come March for those of us on the far side of the planet.

The server is running on Central European Time, same time zone as Berlin, Paris etc.
However, you don't have to worry about cut-off time because the bot will run an extra
day (till 23:59 CET on March 15). The contest officially ends at your local midnight
on March 14 and even if you have a 12-hour time difference to CET you will still be
able to log your last entry at midnight. If you finished the contest by reading in bed
till midnight, you don't have to rush to your computer either, you can still log your
time in the morning of the day after; the cut-off will come either in the afternoon or
the evening of May 15 depending on your time zone.
Change to backdating: I just made it so that the bot will count your study time
towards the previous day (- 24 hours) if your tweet contains the word "yesterday",
since a lot of people are logging stuff from the previous day. However, if you forget
to log anything for several days, you still cannot backdate the entries.

Thank you, that's great! Is it enough to just used the word "yesterday" in the tweet or do I need a hashtag for that?

No hashtag.
I just tweeted "@6wcbot 50 minutes #reading #French yesterday"

I just tried using yesterday to add 45 minutes of Japanese TV on 12.02 but unexpectedly I think it added it to 11.02. I've just got into a bit of mess undoing and redoing updates (not helped by Twitter not liking you making identical tweets). I think the result is I've now got two 45 minutes of TV added on 11.02, when I only need 45 minutes.
Is it possible to fix this, or would it just be easier if I watch more TV tomorrow and not log it to make up for it?
