Yes, guilty pleasure is the exact term :-D
That's one of the best things about using real input in the languages!

I actually have a question for you regarding reading. I've been trying to find something to read in Spanish,
but most things seem to still have a bit too much unfamiliar vocab. How are books like Harry Potter
regarding difficulty? Any suggestions? :)

Harry Potter is really tricky for me!
I started with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, and then read Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. Both
of those were perfect for me - some new words, but most of them I could understand from context. I had already
read both novels in English or French, so I knew the story going in, which helped a lot.
I've recently ordered two more Roald Dahl books, so those will hopefully be here soon. In the meantime, I'm
tandem reading Harry Potter (reading in English and then in Spanish), and I'm re-reading Despereaux intensively
(for vocab and pronunciation).
I actually put up a blog post today on how I'm using children's novels to learn Spanish:
How I use
children's novels
If you like articles, I find veintemundos really useful for reading
Spanish! They have the full article with audio that you can read along to, and they also have a shorter and easier
version of the article for beginners. Both versions of the article have mouseover translations of difficult words.
