Grattis!! :)

the scanian accent. All those diphthongs and triphthongs and the French “r” make it really hard for me to understand. Yet people say that Lund’s accent isn’t so bad for a foreigner after all (probably compared to Malmö’s). |

Säg till om du vill träna din "skånska" lite innan resan (I should probably check if my headset actually works before I say that, but er, I'll check if you want to).

Hmm, the accent does seem to have similarities with vestjysk, the triphthongs
notwithstanding.
Would you be exposed to this level of skånska as a foreigner? It's harder to understand
than what you usually hear via media, eg. Johan Glans or Michael Wiehe.

Lol, I can barely understand anything... Johan Glans is pretty easy to understand though (and
funny!).
I don't think I will be exposed to that language. As eyðimörk said Lund is quite international
and they speak a much "easier" skånska for a foreigner.

Only if you sit around in a no-entertainment town, in front of the local Lidl or a run down hamburger bar with the 15 year old moped crew. Having lived it, I don't recommend it. ;) Or possibly if you have a really strong Stockholm accent. ;)
