Nairo Quintana parler espagnol.

toi !

..on va voir)

I'm not really sure how many people follow my log, but i'd like to invite everyone and
anyone for some input here. I'm actually just curious, and if you have a spare moment
and could give 2 hoots, then pipe up and say your piece people(s)<---- note optional
singular there to denote/demonstrate not too much of an inflated ego on my part. I
ain't even jokin' know what I'm sayin'?
I'm inviting insight from the outside. I'd like to know what you think from your
perspective as to what I could do to improve my French learning, but only really if it
seems clear to you I should be doing something. I may be a little grandiose here
thinking that even a few people know my situation well. I think generally people have
better things to do than read logs all day. Mine being no exception. Yes we read bits
and pieces of others' logs here and there, but to know another's journey in depth is
likely unrealistic. Nonetheless if you feel you can provide some input into my methods
you're most welcome, critical or otherwise- taking into account, naturally, that i'm,
naturally, a little crazy.
What do you think I need to do to improve my French? Keep doing the same? Add
something, remove something, do something else? Bash a fat block of cheese with a
clump of lump? Curiousity more than anything is driving this, but i'm certainly open
to evolving my methods somewhat. I'm not going to turn it all upside down though as I
am getting results in my own kind of crazy way, but I i'm not perfect enough to know
that my methods are ahem *cough, cough* far from perfect? Pfft, whatever,
PM aka MC Esprit
yep, for once, let's talk about me
You hear me on the radio, see me on TV?
What you didn't see? You must be hurtin'
Don't withdraw, keep 'em open, those bloody curtains
Jump up like a kickin' frog on the attack
check my log, that'll bring you right back
not from the dead, but close indeed
back up to speed, soothe your need, stop your hurting 'fore you bleed
PM monsieur le premier a transformé
en une chèvre, remember?
C'est ce que je vous ai dit
Qu'une chèvre serai meee
I'm out, gots places, like, to be
word

I think you're making clear progress. as Mighty Winston Churchill once said, "
If you're going through hell, keep
going".

How about multitasking? Watch the Ashes 1st Test in Cardiff whilst doing some French
grammar or something. Doing an intensive language activity and watching a game usually
makes it less stressful.

Thanks for your input luke. Sounds good, I'll keep soldiering on :) Many a 'great' person has said many a
pertinent thing. Winston Churchill in this case perhaps being the pertinent one. Not so sure about his
'greatness'.
I must say although I've not done any research on Churchill himself (I used to live in a town named after him
btw) I have an immediate distrust of all major political figures of any recent times, particularly if they are 'sold'
to us with a lot of positive spin. Nothing is what it seems. We are all sheep in a socially engineered society in
which we are fed our own opinions, behave with a herd mentality and are indoctrined throughout our lives to
be shaped into what the powers that be want us to be. Facebook is a perfect mechanism for this btw. History
doesn't hapen the way we are taught, political figures are not the people we think they are. . We are for the
most part thoughtless robots, manipulated, unhealthy tax payers blind to our own power. Churchill I suspect
was just another of a long line of positively publicly presented 2nd or 3rd tier puppet masters. Of course I
could be wrong, but I'm not going to adopt the general view just because it's fed to me. I'd prefer to meet
Churchill, get to know him and then see what he's all about. You think you could arrange to bring him back
from the dead?

Although I do most of my reading while driving, writing while cycling and am actually studying several other
languages in the next dimension while having out of body experiences during sleep- the problem there is I
can't manipulate physical 3rd dimensional objects such as books, so I have bought so many duplicate copies
of various textbooks to study during my out of body studies that it's sending me broke in the 3rd dimension.
You see I can't turn the pages so I have to lay several copies of the same book out all over the house open
on different pages in order for me to study enough material. Of course I do traval to France while asleep too
and listen in on real conversations. That can be tricky though as like many other scholars who participate in
such activities it's very difficult to hear clearly without remaining perfectly still and that is a challenge. Getting
bak to the 'although,....' Although (insert: all of the above), I should really start writing my notes in the
hospital in French, and communicating with all patients and staff in French. Assholes should know I've got
some learning to do, and they're just bloody well holding me back. As for cricket, doesn't overly interest me
(ok, not at all, sorry), but I could request that all the players, fans, umpires and the like simply change their
language to French. Shouldn't take too much to convince them really, I mean the UK being right next to
France, they're basically French anyway.
I ain't even me
