Well, life, nothing ever goes as planned. Instead of focussing on my language studies,
I had to say farewell to two pets: one dog died about 4 weeks ago and the other the day
before yesterday. Of course, there is still more: my cat is ill and I have been to the
veterinarian countless times already.
Nevertheless, I managed to do at least something.
Triomphe
Yesterday I finished lesson 15 of Assimil book 2.
旅立ち
I knew it - I failed the JLPT N4. The next time I am ill, I will stay at home instead
of travelling to the test centre.
Assimil lesson: 61.
Genki 1 review: lesson 9 (yes, I thought it would be nice to look at Genki 1, which I
already finished around August last year, again)
Today my Kanji Flashcards arrived. I want to learn 2 intermediate Kanjis a day - each
with some vocabulary. I started three days ago and up to now it is working.
Oh, on a sidenote:
I guess I never mentioned that I am only doing the passive wave of Assimil. Instead of
doing the active wave, I copy the whole lesson by hand some days after I did the
passive wave. At this point it is much more important for me to learn a lot of
vocabulary very fast. This way, I can enjoy native material faster. This copying by
hand reinforces the vocabulary quite fine - for me at least.
@Mohave:
Thanks, it was like reaching a milestone for me :)
I hope you can post your finishing of Assimil next month!
