I've got another question concerning the bot:
Can you update two things in one tweet? Like "I watched one episode of "x" for 20 min in
#Spanish and one episode of "y" for 30min in #Spanish"?
Or do you have to do two tweets about it...
I just want to keep track WHAT I have done and not only how long or how many pages..

You need to tweet them separately. You can also tweet that you did "x and y" for 50 min. (if it adds up to 90ish min, no need to list the time explicitly)

4. You are absolutely right. As long as the film is over an
hour, it still counts as a film. If you are doing
episodes of a series, which are generally about 40 minutes, you count two episodes as a
film. |

And I was going to count minute after minute till I reached 4500 :| Now I need to work
out a formula that allows to list individual 60'+ films and 40'+ episodes while still
keeping track of the shorter video and audio clips that have actually proven to be as
much as useful.

@Expugnator. The main rule of this challenge is KISS. Do not complicate things too much :-)

I have a few questions...
1) When I look at my stats on the bot page it is giving me results out of 100 books/films - is this right? I thought we were aiming for 50 of each, though admittedly I would like to get to 100 if I could.
2) I'm going to the theatre in a few weeks to see a play in Croatian. Is it within the rules to count this as a "film"? There will be the theatre-equivalent of subtitles in English but all the speaking will be in Croatian.
3) I have registered with Croatian but I am going to be watching some video in Serbian and would like to be able to count this towards my total. I don't want to get into a debate about the extent to which Croatian and Serbian are separate languages, but I just want to check whether this would be within the rules given the similarities between the two?

No, we're aiming for 100/100 (full challenge), but the books have been changed from 100 to 50 pages each. Speaking of that, it's not anything urgent of course but I'd like to ask surrealix to either change the wording to something like "3/25 for the current star, 1 book per week to complete" (rather than finish), or get rid of the "/100" part, ie "3 books read, 1 book per week to complete the next star". The default goal of 100 is very demotivating :(
Serbian and Croatian definitely count together. At HTLAL you can even choose to list Croatian, Serbian or Serbo-Croatian. It's really a bit of a coincidence that specifically Croatian is listed at the bot, mostly because that's how we asked for it during the previous challenge.

Thank you Serpent, that makes perfect sense now. I was getting confused with my numbers!

That's great news :) I only have reading material in Croatian rather than Serbian but am
going to try to listen to both equally for the films part.

You can set a private challenge to give Croatian and Serbian listening equal attention. I'm going to keep track of Italian audio with male and female voices separately for example, putting something like "1/50 F" in each tweet. This way I may already finish the official challenge, but if it's 40/50 F and 60/50 M obviously it doesn't count for me :)
