There seems to be another bug. A lot of people are listed as having a 5 week streak, but there haven't been 5 weeks yet. For others it's correct: I'm listed with a 4 week streak, which is what I have. I have tweeted right from the beginning, so for some reason it's counting people differently.

@Jeffers,
this may be because of the time zone problem. For me my first entry was published on the
1st may here where I live, but the bot states it as the 30th April. I know that these are
still not really 5 weeks, but when the first week started at 1st may maybe the day before
counts for the bot as another week.
It's still a bug though, however, when it is because of this time zone thing then it's
maybe known by surrealix.

I found a bug/issue. Since twitter doesn't allow us to tweet the same

same thing, it doesn't get tweeted by the bot and as a result also doesn't get added to
the tally. |

I found that last time too - it would think it was a duplicate tweet. I ended up adding
random notes (like what chapter I was on) at the end of the tweet to make it look
different.

As Kanewai says, if you post different titles, the tweet will be different. You could add the pages or chapters, if you are tweeting a book bit by bit. If I watch or read something again I put the number in brackets, eg: "Book title (2nd time)".It's useful to do this anyway, both for yourself and for people who are following you.
@Komma, I thought that might be it, but in that case I should have a week more than the others (since my first tweet registered on the 30th of April). A little later I checked again, and it said I had a 5 week streak. So it fixed itself, but there still must be some sort of problem.

Well but we're in the 5th week of May. Just look at any calendar hehe.
Also I was speaking of something different. If you simply word it differently (like #watching instead of #watched), you can have the same title, but if both the title and the amount is the same, you'll be able to tweet it but the bot won't be able to tweet your progress because it's also not allowed to tweet identical tweets. And you get no warning or anything :/

Are you sure it doesn't get added to the tally? This should be independent of whether
twitter allows the bot to reply the same thing twice in a row.
Either way, I'll put it on my list of things to fix. I think the easiest way will just
be changing the reply tweet, either by adding a timestamp or having some kind of
encouragement (I like the idea of this!). Thanks for bringing it up.

Yes, Serpent has the correct interpretation here. Because the weeks are measured from
Sunday->Sunday, it's possible to have studied in 5 different "weeks" even if it's less
than 35 days since you started.

The weekly streak doesn't update as quickly as the tweets, so it's possible that you
recorded your first study for the week and it hadn't been updated in the badge yet.
(For the technically minded : it's a server-side calculation and is run when the
participant graph cache is updated.)

No, it didn't get added. Only went through when I changed the name a little. Shouldn't have deleted the tweet in question :/

ok so now that it's relevant to me, what's the orange & red ribbon looking thing mean next to my name?
Something to do with consistent study?
