NOVEMBER CHALLENGE

This one is from Jeffers, if anyone else want to propose a challenge for later months just send me a PM.

Watch a film in your TL without any subtitles, then watch it with subtitles (your own language for B1 and
below, target language if possible for above B1), and then watch it a third time without subtitles. Alternatively,
one could read the transcript in place of watching with subtitles.

I'm down with that, I like watching films and I just bought two more. But what is the purpose of the challenge? Are we looking for improvement, note differences?

Yes, this is about seeing how much more you can understand of a film once you see it again after having had
the opportunity to use subtitles.

Some are negative to subtitles, and think it is better to see a film in the original language only. Personally I
am a huge fan of subtitles, as it makes it easier not only to follow the plot, but also to pick up new vocabulary.

It has been a long time since I logged in and log any activities to the bot. May I upload
all the tasks that I have done for the past 6 months in one shot?

I know people like to bend the rules and all, but whoever it is that has posted over 300
hours of Japanese movies and 9000 pages of Japanese books in the past four days is
taking it too far.

I have my doubts too, but this makes me remember the previous accusation you made. Ughhhh.

Can we get some insight from anyone who actually knows enough Japanese to judge?
