I've tried buying Assimil Hebreu from the main website, and apparently it doesn't let billing address to be from the USA. Amazon.fr didn't work either. The only place I found so far was this place at the Rockefeller Center Promenade, and they charge something around $175 for just the first level, which is insane; it's more than twice the suggested retail price.

Have you tried amazon.co.uk. I've seen quite a few Assimil courses on the UK version of Amazon. Might be worth a shot.

I just found this link. If you are an Assimil fan and can read French, this site is great. Amazon.fr has a whole category devoted to Assimil:

Excellent link Farley! I had no idea they had a dedicated section. I've been browsing Amazzon.fr for Assimil via keyword search and the results have been quite confusing.
Andy.

I was doing the same thing when I found this link completely by chance.
For all those who are curious the site navigation on Amazon.fs’s Assimil site is ten times better than Assimil.com. It seems to have all the courses Assimil has on the market, including their English based courses. Also, the ISBN numbers and the item descriptions match and the prices are consistent, usually about 65 euros per course. I have found this is not the case on Amazon.com, or even Amazon.co.uk, where a CD course is often listed as a paperback only and the prices range between 50-175 dollars.
