The structure of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test has changed, they've added a new level and the highest level now measures higher levels of proficiency, although the pass mark is the same.

Language: Japanese
Authority: The Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services
ALTE level: n5 (lowest), n4, n3, n2, n1 (highest)
Name of certificate: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

The structure of the Bergen Test ("Test i norsk - høyere nivå") has also changed. One can get a "pass" grade, which indicates level B2 or a "high pass" grade, which indicates level C1.

Language: Norwegian
Authority: University of Bergen and Folkeuniversitetet
ALTE level: 3 (B2) or 4 (C1)
Name of certificate: Test i norsk - høyere nivå ("Bergenstesten")

Hello !

I'd like to add a certificate for Hungarian, as I can't find it :

Language: Hungarian
Authority: Debreceni Nyári Egyetem (által Budapesten) // Debrecen Summer School in Budapest
ALTE level: A2
Name of certificate: Tanúsítvány / Certificate

( A kurzus kreditértéke: 6 kredits (ECTS). )

This is to certify that [Name] participated in an Intensive Hungarian Language Course (60 class units) organised by the Debrecen Summer School in Budapest between the 4 and 22 July, 2011 at elementary (A2) level with an excellent result.
(The credit value of the course is 6 (ECTS).)

Dr. Szaffkó Péter igazgató /Director

There are 3 levels, 1, 2, 3, the A2 is in the level 2. I think the 3 is B2, but I'm not sure.

I agree with this post. I will be taking the N5 in December, and I'd like to proudly (and correctly) display my status! Thank you.
