By the way, I'm a little embarrassed to ask, but how do you get
assigned a mentor for the "Ana Pana" and "Ana Renkontas" courses? I couldn't find it
anywhere.

It should be under Courses > Basic > Ana Pana > Correspondence. You need to be logged in.
I cannot tell for sure because I have a teacher account there.

@ Lucky Charms

I read your reviews of the Esperanto courses.

To use La Puzla Esperanto, click on "Go" and after the words are assembled, click on "Show Translation" to hear the pronunciation and see the meaning. Once you do the demos for the lesson, assemble the word from the English prompt.

There used to be a page that had all the Ana Pana tutors listed so I'd just send them a PM with your answers and see if they get back to you. You may want to send them a PM first asking if they would be your tutor.

EDIT: Finish the first lesson and you can choose a tutor from a drop down menu at the end of the lesson. You can find out about the tutors and their average response time by clicking on "read tutor introductions" which is the page I found before.

I sent an email to Assimil to know whether it was still possible to order "L'Espéranto
sans peine". Answer : "We regret to inform you that we do not sell this method anymore".

That's why I finally bought "L'Espéranto sans peine" on Amazon (with the 4 CDs). It could
be useful later.

You lost me. Shouldn't Spanish be in there?

Can someone give the approximate hours it takes to reach the various levels (A1 thru C2) in Esperanto?

O.K. I do not know if this is a joke from both of you.

@Volte, How is Portuguese considered one of the top three Romance languages in France?

@Wulfgar, Spanish in France?

I did see a non exhaustive and non scientific conlang list and Esperanto, Interlingua, Klingon, then Ido are the top four. If it were non fiction, then the exclusion of Klingon holds for the other languages as the top three.

If you are curious here is the link to the list of the blogger .

Aside from the Assimil Esperanto audio having a noticeable French accent. The Parlons Esperanto French speaker is even thicker.

It looks like
1) French
2) Portuguese
3) Spanish
according to this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_France
but I could be wrong.

We used the same data source, but I included the Occitan languages, which are a subset of the Romance languages.
